Sheena? Um, somebody else from our world is here. His name is Richter Abend, and he was a friend of Aster's.

[Emil's quiet for a second after that, unsure of how much to say. He hasn't said anything about Aster to Sheena, but he knows from stalking watching Aster's first post to the network that they've met. In the end he opts to just not say anything and go on.]

I don't think Richter will be dangerous here, but in my time he used to be. He was willing to make a pact with demons in order to bring Aster back, and stop me from destroying humanity. That caused a lot of other things to happen, and - well, I thought you ought to know.

...Please don't tell Aster any of this. I don't think he or Richter would like it if he knew.

[She takes a second to gather herself.]

He was willing to make a pact with demons? That's insane! You can't just say something like that and expect me to not be a little concerned. What makes you think he's not dangerous anymore?

And-- yeah, I won't tell Aster. I figure that's... between you and him.

...Yeah.

[Aster. Totally complicated. Right. Moving on please - not that Richter is any easier to talk about, come to think of it.]

We defeated Richter before the door to Niflheim was completely opened, and since then he's been helping me to guard it. He never intended to allow the demons...

[No, that's not right. Richter went on with his plan even without a Cruxis Crystal; he must have been aware that eventually his time would run out and the demons would be able to overtake their world.]

He's not as bad as all of that might sound.

[She's not convinced, but she values Emil's opinion because they're friends. That's the only reason she tries to calm down.]

Does he realize what he did was wrong?

I think so. But he's from a time before we stopped him, so I don't know what he's thinking right now. I wish I did.

This just gets better and better.

[She scritches the back of her neck.]

I'm gonna keep an eye on him just in case. That's what I did when Mithos was here, and it never hurt anyone, so...

[That's fair, at least. Emil wouldn't have told his friends about this if he weren't worried about at all Richter himself.

...He's not going to think about that comparison to Mithos right now.]

[Because with everything that's changed, all of this can't be easy for either of them.]
