Well there's always the library!

[he shrugs] Just for the week, that's all. It's healed, but it still needs some recovery time. Pushing it too far will strain it.

Okay, fine. I'll watch it. [She huffs and hunches her shoulders a fraction.] I know it's bad when you start nagging me...

[She blows across the top of her tea and takes a sip.]

[And he is taking his own cup]

Haha, sorry but someone needs to nag you from time to time.

[fujibayashi]

[She's blushing a little agh damn it. LOOK AWAAAAY]

Yeah, I know. You're very strong and capable.

Buuut you put too much on your shoulders sometimes. Taking on all the work you can and fretting about everyone else. And that'd heavy to bear for anyone, man.

[... He just called her strong, not just strong but VERY strong, and capable, and he's not even being a douche about it. She pinkens and looks a bit taken aback, and then she realizes she's probably blushing and-- grips the edge of her tunic instead of throwing the tea in his face.

I-it's not like I do that on purpose! I didn't ask for some guy to break my arm.

Well I'd hope not. Asking someone to break your arm is not very healthy.

No, [she retorts in a softer tone,] you're here because you're worried about talking to your sister.

[Wow, when put like that? It kinda stings]

....I could've done that over the tablet you know.

[fujibayashi]

[She looks down into the bottom of her teacup. It's her guilt that's making the tea taste bad this time.]

Let me do it. Let me talk to her.

[There is very little about this that can be considered a good idea, but Sheena seems earnest.]

[That catches him off guard]

[fujibayashi]

If I talk to her and tell her what happened, she might be able to handle it better. She can talk to you when she calms down.

[She looks at him.]

... What's with that look?

[wilder]

[Sheena that is possibly the worst plan you made since that time you decided to give yourself up to Kuchikawa. ]

[Crap. how to say it tactfully though]

Yep, I'm sure. If she's gonna hear it, she deserves to hear it from the idiot that made this mess.

...Besides, I hear back in my time she decided to go after Lloyd for revenge. So...you should probably distance yourself from the whole incident as much as possible. [So you know, she doesn't STAB you]

Oh, that's... [Definitely not good. This is a tidbit that Colette didn't share in her time here, so Sheena isn't quite sure how to handle it. She grips her teacup with both hands.]

[he frowns, feeling uncomfortable]

I just want to help. [She tries to lighten the mood a little.] I mean, does the tea even do anything?

[wilder]

Yeah, I know. [He'll shrug lightly] I'd say it's pretty soothing.

... Whenever I was really anxious about my training, Grandpa would make tea, just like this.

[She tops off their teacups, then sets the kettle back down.]

He'd make me sit there and finish it. Even when I couldn't sit still, I wasn't allowed to go to sleep until my cup was empty... even if my tea was cold.

You know the stuff in the bottom of the cup? It's good luck if you get a stalk sticking straight up. Grandpa said that I would be throwing away my good luck if I rushed through everything.

A-- anyway, that's... why I make tea when people come over. It's my own little ritual, I guess.

Heh....seems like a good ritual to me.

[Throwing away good luck if you rush everything? Maybe, he'll look at his own tea thoughtfully. His eyes can see through the colored liquid pretty well- no stalks sticking up there. Pretty typical]

It's too bad I never got to meet the guy.
